Bio
Evan D’Orazio was born in 1983 in Park Ridge, Illinois. After playing cello for over ten years, he was drawn to an art-making career in 2006, and chose ceramics as his major medium. He received his M.F.A. from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2016, and his B.F.A. in Ceramics at Northern Illinois University, magna cum laude in 2010. Having been in numerous exhibitions, including NCECA’s 1st annual National Student Juried Exhibition in Philadelphia, PA, he had his first solo show in DeKalb, IL, and continues to show regionally and nationally. He likes animals, film, videogames and music, and drinks a lot of coffee.
